~What Prevention Means To Me~

In the beginning of my 8th grade year when my mom walked out I went to live with my grams for two weeks, then I came back home to live with my dad.  Shortly after, the local SADD chapter did a presentation on Snowflake and me and my friends decided to go.  We had a great time and met some truly amazing people such as Jason Cress, Sean McCarthy, Joe Sanchez, Dan Sanchez, and Teresa Afrunti.  We've all stayed active in prevention.  Freshman year I went to 3 Snowballs, ILCAAAP retreat, and ITI.  I loved them all!  My Sophmore year I joined the local SADD chapter and even got to staff a Snowball! I made a PALS at the next one!   I'm totally gung-ho on prevention and I pray that my excitement will spread to those around me!
